Holiday Hair

It’s been a busy winter season thus far at Redhead Salon. With the holiday party season getting into gear, we sat down with the stylists and asked them a few questions about their favorite styles and memories. Here’s what they all had to say:

What’s your favorite style for a holiday party?

You can’t go wrong with big, loose curls with a sparkly accessory.

What things should women always carry in their purses at a party?

Hairspray, lipstick, perfume and bobby pins.

Braids are popular this season, what’s an easy way to incorporate them in a hair style?

French braiding bangs is great for all hair lengths.

What’s the best way to incorporate small accents like rhinestoned bobby pins?

Tuck them into an updo or use them to clip back small hair pieces. Either, way a few accents will go a long way!

Favorite Holiday Tradition?

Christmas Eve at my Memaw’s. My family gets together in the afternoon and we spend the rest of the day opening gifts and eating!-Laura

Putting up our Christmas tree is always fun.-Annette

Christmas morning breakfast with my family. -Sami and Kim

On Christmas Eve my entire family gets pajamas, we wear those to bed and open gifts in the morning. Also seeing the Nutcracker each winter.-Erin

A family friend gives me a new nutcracker every year, so I like getting the new one and putting the rest out on display.-Kyle
